Abhishek has different plans from his father. When Amitabh and Jaya Bachan got married they faced lot of problems which the Hindi film industry is Aware, and these problems came to an end with Jaya Bachan Quitting her work in the film industry. Unlike his father Abhishek Bachan wants his wife to continue her work. He says that he wants Aishwarya to work for the one reason that he is her biggest fan and loves watching her on screen. He says that the choice is entirely hers but if he was asked if she should continue working he would definitely act selfish by saying that she should certainly continue her work.

With Amitabh Bachchan not being happy about the final product of Sholay’s remake ‘Aag’, RGV’s next film Cobra has come to a stand still. As reported earlier, the Amitabh- Abhishek and Ajay Devgan starer Cobra was RGV’s next ambitious project with the Bachchan clan. After the disastrous response from both public and critics, this project had actually become a dream for RGV but Abhishek came to his rescue by suggesting that Cobra should now have either Saif Ali Khan or Salman Khan to make it interesting. And guess what? Papa Bachchan seems very hopeful about this idea and has again taken interest in reviving RGV’s Cobra.

Ram Gopal Varma’s Sholay is finally out of the back burner and ready to see the day’s light on Friday the 13th of July. Yes you heard it right- Friday the 13. Anything that is considered inauspicious in general can easily fall into the auspicious category for Ramu. That is what RGV stands for. So when you tell him that the day is not good he says: “But not by my calendar. I like to do the unthinkable. That’s what I did by doing my own take on Sholay, didn’t I?”

Not a surprise in RGV’s case. There are more surprises to come when the movie releases. After all the ‘n’ number of controversies that hovered around the movie it is finally set to release. The movie has lot many deviations from the original Ramesh Sippy’s Sholay. Starting from the duration of the movie to the scenes, characters and the relationship between each of the characters, everything is new. Good for the viewers and Ramu also says that he won’t use the Urmila-Abhishek Mehbooba song in the promos. Brave decision to avoid a famous number done differently as we all know what Farhan Akhtar had to face for featuring Yeh Mera Dil in the promos. Smart anyway!

Ramu is making news and this time some good ones. After a long wait for two years Ram Gopal Varma is all set to go on floors for Sarkar 2. After the immense success of Sarkar, which was an outright copy of Godfather by Francis Ford Coppola, the plans are to make Sarkar 2 even bigger. But this time the difference is that the story and the screenplay will be entirely different from that of Godfather 2 where the son takes over the underworld business.

Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan says his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai will continue acting in films, bucking the trend of actresses quitting the industry after marriage, reports said on Thursday. Rai’s marriage last week to Abhishek Bachchan, also a top film star, captivated film-crazy Indians, who wondered if the former Miss World would continue her career.

“Jaya and I have insisted that Aishwarya must continue with her acting career,” Bachchan told the Times of India, referring to his actress wife who disappeared from the screen after marriage and resurfaced nearly two decades later.
